Gentle Giant
On an island lives a strange and forbidding giant – the nearby villagers are wary of him, but is he the reason that fish can no longer be caught in the silver lake? Can the Stardust Seller help with magic dust? By accident, one young girl discovers that she can help the giant, and he in turn can help save the village. This charming story has been specially created for young children and the adults in their lives to discover the joy of opera and storytelling in theatre.

“I thought the story was good because it was very emotional.” Stephen, age 11, at the premiere of Gentle Giant at the Royal Opera House
“As well as encouraging us to treat outsiders with understanding rather than suspicion, the tale also conveys that, with a little insight, we can enable nature to heal itself.” The Stage, UK
