Jack
by Mike Kenny
Our story begins with Jack in a dinner pot awaiting his fate as dinner for the Giant, when Jack recounts how he found himself on the Giant’s dinner menu and begins to talk his way out of the soup pot. Gertrude, the Giant’s wife, confides her feelings of being overlooked and taken for granted by the Giant, while Jack describes the disappointment he has caused his mother. It is this relationship that helps both Jack and Gertrude find their way to happier lives.
