Treasure Island has principal characters of 13 men and 1 woman, plus a chorus. With doubling, the show needs a minimum of 10 men and 3 women.

Composer David Mallamud is an Emmy-nominee, a MacDowell, Dramatist Guild, and Leonard Bernstein Fellow (Tanglewood). Joshua H. Cohen’s honors include a Jonathan Larson Grant, the Anna Zornio Children’s Theatre Playwriting Award (lyrics, Keep On Walkin’), and a MAC Award nomination for his cult cabaret hit “The Sacrifice of Love” (a.k.a. the waxing song).
