Slap
Walker has a lot on his mind. His dad died in the war when Walker was just a baby, and now his mom, the town doctor, is dating ‘Leery Larry’. When his mom brought home Rann, a refugee from one of her relief agency trips in Cambodia, Walker was totally fed up. He didn’t want to live with a freaky little alien who didn’t know how to speak English! In the end Walker learns that Rann understands his pain more than anyone, and together they dream of sailing away to brighter days.
