The Delicious Revenge of Princess Rubyslippers
Sibling rivalry is unraveled in comic confusion of fairy tale situations in The Delicious Revenge of Princess Rubyslippers. In this play Jake and his little sister Ruby are terribly bored while their harried mum tries to take a five-minute break. When Jake’s friend Tom arrives, Ruby wants to play with them and when they won’t let her she hides in a box and disappears. The play then unfolds into a world of make-believe, where mum appears as a fariy godmother (who isn’t very helpful), the big bad wolf, a giant, a witch and Prince Charming.
