Lifeboat
What would you do if you were stranded on a lifeboat with four other kids, and only one bottle of water? Brendan Murray’s play explores this question as five children figure out how to survive after their ship sinks crossing the Atlantic. All hope seems lost, until a mysterious girl suddenly appears on the lifeboat. Is she a sea monster? A German spy? Nobody knows. She brings bread with her, but also a boatload of trouble. This intense play portrays five unique, vibrant characters who are pushed to their limits. Filled with ethical dilemmas, “Lifeboat” will absorb children into its wartime setting and fast-paced plot.
