Inner Grace
by Barry Kornhauser
An accident has left 12-year-old Grace paralyzed, bitter and withdrawn. She resists the firm unyielding support of her mother, her teacher’s deep concern, and the unlikely comradeship of one of her classmates by retreating into a fantasy world of her own creation. There, through an imaginative voyage of personal discovery, Grace faces her deepest fears and conquers her self-imposed psychological limitations, ultimately finding a new state of “inner grace.”
