A Christmas Carol (Hulse)

by Toby Hulse

with music by Julian Butler

based on the novel by Charles Dickens

Andrew and his family decide to spend Christmas at their Aunts’ country cottage in a bid to drag their brother out of his “Bah, Humbug” Christmas feeling. The house, however, has ideas of its own in this wonderful retelling of Dickens’ timeless classic. When a power cut threatens to ruin their ‘grown-up’ family Christmas, they decide to tell each other one of the most well known Christmas tales which, with the magic of the season and Hulse’s wonderful storytelling style, brings out the inner child in all three siblings and fun is all that can be had.

The ingenious ways that the tiny cast recreates the formidable novel are nothing short of brilliant.
